From v2.5, 10% source code of eZine has been encoded by ionCube Encoder. This requires ionCube Loader to be installed in your web host. Install ionCube Loader is very simple even when you are on a shared hosting account. To get a free copy of ionCube Loader please visit

If you have not purchased eZine yet, please download the 30 days free trial version of eZine v2.7.

If you are upgrading from eZine v2.2 or below: you dont need to uninstall the current instance of eZine before install this new one. However, after install eZine v2.7.2, you need to remove and re-add all eZine categories of every eZine page you have created before in order for eZine v2.7.2 working property.

If you are upgrading from eZine v2.5 or above: first you need to backup the following MySQL tables first: your-db-prefix_ezine_config, your-db-prefix_ezine_page, your-db-prefix_ezine_category, your-db-prefix_ezine_separator, your-db-prefix_ezine_newsletter_contents, your-db-prefix_ezine_newsletter_users, your-db-prefix_menu and your-db-prefix_modules. After successful uninstall eZine v2.5 and install eZine v2.7.2, simply import the backed up MySQL tables into your database.
