Below is some advanced features of D4J Christmas Pack:

1. Merry Christmas template:

Customizable header image: free to choose from 5 beautiful header images. To see how header image look like, browse to folder templates/merry_christmas/images/header under your Joomla! root directory. To change header image, in Joomla! administration panel, go to Site -> Template Manager -> Site Templates, in the opened page tick the radio box beside the Merry Christmas template and click the Edit HTML button at top of the template listing page then in the opened page input the file name of the header image you want to use as value for the $header_image variable.
Customizable greeting text: by default the template comes with greeting text of Merry Christmas but you can easily change it to any greeting text you like. To change the greeting text, in Joomla! administration panel, go to Modules -> Site Modules then click the New button in the opened page, in the new user module adding page enter the first part of your greeting text, for example Happy, for the Title field then input the remaining part of your greeting text, for example New Year, in the Content text area, be sure to select user8 for Position parameter before save the new user module.

2. D4J Content Listing v1.3:

Per users requests, many new amazing features have been added in this release of D4J’s Content Listing Joomla! module. Below is some new attractive features:

Fixed compatibility issue with JoomFish in multi-lingal site.
Added ability to present articles in Joomla! blog style. You can define how many articles to arrange in one row besides how many articles to retrieve and display.
Added Related Article as source to query for articles based on meta keyword, same section and same category types.
Added Randomize for articles ordering.
Added ability to use an image as horizontal separator between articles in same row and/or vertical separator between rows of articles.
Automatically create real high quality thumbnail image based on the image associated with the first {mosimage} bot tag of an article and present the thumbnail created along with article in various positions: float to left of article content, float to right of article content, above article title, below article title, etc…
