If you have ever used Joomla, you may noticed that default Joomla FrontPage has a blog layout presentation combining contents from different section/categories all together. This format is awkward and inappropriate for content display. Fortunately, we have created D4J eZine Component, the alternative way to display Joomla content items in flexible and elegance way.

It allows users to divided all Joomla content items to logical categories and set multiple categories to be displayed in the page. With eZine you are no longer restricted by Joomla default plain positioning mechanism. You are now able to expose maximum contents in a elegance and flexible way. I. Install your D4J Ezine

 

First of alll, access to Client Areahttp://designforjoomla.com/client/client_login.php.

 

You must register an user account on Client area, log on Client area with your account and order Full/Trial D4J Ezine component. You are supplied a key to upgrade license for your site using Ezine and receive key file via your email when you submit that key with your domain. In case you don’t receive key file with your mail, you can download it from Client Area from http://designforjoomla.com

1. How to install new Joomla template?

After setting up your Joomla, one of the first things you need to do is to install Joomla template for your site. A Joomla template is usually in the form of a  ***.zip file. You will have new Joomla templates from many different resources. For example, you can download free Joomla Templates or join in  D4J Joomla Templates Club from the website:
 
After having Joomla Templates, you can login on Joomla administrator area. Then, you install new Joomla template with Installers function by just click on Templates – Sites:

  • Run the file xampp-win32-1.6.6a-installer.exe
  • Unzip to wampp directory.
  • Move xampp directory to C driver.
  • For beginning the localhost, run the file xampp_start.exe in path C:\xampp
  • Make shortcut to the Desktop (of the file xampp_start.exe) and copy it to Start-up if you want run the localhost automatically.
  • Minimize that running windows to the Toolbar.
  • Go to C:\xampp\htdocs directory.
  • This is the root directory of your local server
  • Delete all the exist file.
